No Transport

The No Transport problem can be caused by incorrect e-mail settings in OutLook.

The error message may be a listing of a number of errors similar to this:

'Lastname, Firstname (maybe here)' on 12/5/2006 2:37 PM

No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient.

The problem may be caused by anti-spam standards used to prevent "spoofing".  The server that hosts your e-mail knows that it is responsible for your e-mail.  When it receives e-mail from another server that claims to be responsible--it assumes your e-mail is being "spoofed", and rightly refuses to handle it.  Hence the "No transport provider" error message.

Resolution

  • The correct information will have to be entered into OutLook.  Please, from the menu towards the top of this page, use the settings provided for the e-mail server you are on.
  • If that does not solve the problem, send the error message using the Troubleshooting method (on the menu towards to top of this page).  This is absolutely essential so the detailed, hidden header can be used to confirm the precise problem.
